LightNode Chile Santiago Hourly Billing Cheap Cloud VPS Test and Review

We have tried out the budget-friendly, pay-as-you-go Chile Santiago VPS from LightNode. It has a modern Intel Xeon Processor with this setup: 2-core CPU, 4 GB of memory, 50 GB SSD, fast 100 Mbps net connection, enough data for most at 1 TB, and an IPv4 address.

Our team runs it through many checks: quick benchmarks for the basics, Yabs and Unix Benchmarks to see what it can handle, and network tests that look at connection speeds globally. We’ll also measure how long it takes to send data with the Global Ping Test.

We’ll do the Media Unlock Test to check if it can stream regional content. To judge how it links up with CloudFlare’s services, there’s the CloudFlare Internet Test. And for how speedy and smooth it loads websites, we’ll use PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.
