Aquatis United States Seattle High Bandwidth KVM VPS Hosting Test and Review

We recently put the Aquatis Seattle, USA, High-Speed VPS Hosting to the test. This service is built on a powerful Intel Xeon Gold 6140 CPU that runs at 2.30GHz. Its setup includes a dual-core CPU, 4 GB of memory, 40 GB of SSD storage, 1 Gbps internet connection, 25 TB data transfer, and one each of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

To evaluate performance, we started with basic tests, like Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark, to check standard features. We ran the Global Node Test for network performance and checked how fast it responded to the Global Ping Test.

We also checked if it can access media from different regions with the Media Unlock Test, tested connection quality with the CloudFlare Internet Test, and measured webpage loading speed using PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.

Conclusion

Our initial tests focused on Basic Benchmarks where we observed the input/output operations per second (IOPS). Results showed good consistency with an average I/O speed of 503.3 MB/s. The upload and download speeds varied across different nodes, with some reaching as high as 990.25 Mbps in download speed (Los Angeles, US) and the low end revealing a slow 0.12 Mbps in Chongqing, CN. Latency also ranged widely from 27.55 ms up to 231.74 ms, depending on the geographic location of the testing nodes.

We then moved on to the Yabs Performance Bench, measuring disk speed with different block sizes and mixed read/write operations, with performances peaking at 2.20 GB/s. The server also underwent the Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test, scoring 416 in single-core and 560 in multi-core assessments.

The extensive UnixBench tests were performed to gauge CPU performance, file operations, and script execution, with the VPS scoring 409.4 in single-run tests and improving to 677.6 when tests were run in parallel. These figures indicate a solid performance, particularly in handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

In conclusion, the Aquatis Seattle VPS Hosting delivered strong and consistent results across various performance tests, indicating a reliable server for high-demand applications.
