ServerPoint Netherlands Amsterdam Intel Xeon Gold High Frequency CPU VPS Test and Review
We recently tested the ServerPoint Netherlands Amsterdam High-Frequency CPU VPS. It runs on an Intel Xeon Gold 6144 CPU @ 3.50GHz Processor (Plan: G4.4) with the following specs: 2 CPU Cores, 4 GB RAM, 80 GB SSD Storage, 1 Gbps Internet Port, 7 TB Traffic, and 1 IPv4 Address.
Our review includes several tests: the Basic Benchmark, Yabs, and Unix Benchmark for performance metrics, the Global Node Test for network speeds from different locations, and the Global Ping Test for measuring latency. We also check media accessibility with The Media Unlock Test, connection quality with the CloudFlare Internet Test, and web performance with PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix.

Conclusion
In our Basic Benchmark, the server’s I/O speeds averaged 292 MB/s, which is decent but not outstanding. Upload speeds reached 997.88 Mbps locally, while download speeds were slightly lower at 843.40 Mbps. Performance varied across global locations, with Amsterdam showing the best results and Hong Kong the slowest.
The Yabs Performance Bench showed mixed results. For smaller block sizes, read and write speeds were around 74 MB/s, below average. However, speeds improved significantly for larger blocks, reaching up to 420 MB/s. This indicates that the server performs better with larger data transfers.
Geekbench 6 scores were impressive, with a Single Core score of 1179 and a Multi Core score of 2165. These scores are well above standard, indicating overall solid performance. The UnixBench results further confirmed this, with a System Benchmarks Index Score of 1924.6 when running two parallel tests, showcasing excellent CPU performance.
In conclusion, the ServerPoint Netherlands Amsterdam High-Frequency CPU VPS offers solid performance, especially in CPU-intensive tasks. While I/O speeds could be better, the server excels in network speeds and computational power, making it a reliable choice for demanding applications.
